Replacing New Watch Pushes For A Seiko 5M62 Kinetic Watch

Recommended Posts

Hi Chris,

You are not giving much information on the matter so I will take a guess.

I'm assuming it is a Seiko Kinetic probably one of the 5M42/43 et al family. Check the watch case number, and go to boley for the appropriate pusher part number. If everything is right CousinsUK may have it. Otherwise you may have to clean and improvise with the old one. One other place to check for rust and/or cleanliness is the tube where the pusher slides in. Honestly, the pusher itself is sold separate from the "tube" but technically they are all a unit so maybe you can get the whole assembly at cousins. I'd rather do this since it assures a smooth working and it is not too much money. Make sure to lubricate with silicone grease for water proofing.

Cheers,

Bob
