A Eureka Moment !

Recommended Posts

A couple of days ago someone brought in a 1930's Haller clock with Westminster chimes for repair,

the clock was working but would only strike once regardless of the hour, I also noticed a lot of mechanical noise when the Westminster train was running. The fault was traced to a rod out of adjustment & a bent lever, probably the result of rough handling by a previous tinkerer ! , the clock is now back together running nicely & telling everyone the time ! I wish they were all like that !   :D

When I worked on cars for living years ago, we had a sign in the office....
