Be carefull! I don't know what these have inside, but the one from mtg3000 has a preamplifier in it. And I think they receive 12V or 24V through the same cable with which they connect to the main timegrapher.

 

So you might not need the amp and only the software, but you will have some trouble: you need to give it 12V from somewhere, on one hand, on the other, the signal-to-noise ratio might not be so great and I don't know if it will work connected directly into the soundcard.

Interesting. I have a Pre amp.

Can't see the Mic needing power ??
