Hi All,

I am very new to watches. I bought a non running old soviet watch, cheap to learn about watch making. The raketa came with a 2609.ha movement. I disassembled the movement extremely careful, cleaned all parts in an ultrasonic cleaner. The reassembled it extremely careful over 2days from photos I had taken & an online service of the movement showing how to oil & grease.

Since I got the watch back together It ran initially. But I have notice upon winding the keyless works is hit & miss. Some time it engages for winding in the correct position. Other times it is not disengaging as I set the time & I can feel the main spring winding when it should be disengaged.

When I disassemble from the dial everything seems to be working.

I have greased the two keyless toothed winding gears as per the service video. It is obviously something I am overlooking or missing. Possibly too much grease, although I thought I used it sparingly or possibly wore gears or crown pin?

Any advise would be welcome.

Thanks lads
