I have these.  Not sure they are military, tried researching and asked on here but no definite answer.  Enjoy anyway.

Definitely military style.  Anything on the backs?

Nothing on the backs but I read that early airforce ones didn't. I would really like to know.

Leonidas did make some Army Time Pieces. But the case for yours doesn't match the military spec for this. The styling of the case and lugs is more in keeping with an art deco dress watch. Seems a little large compared to many of that era but a do have a large Venus that is very similar.  What is on the back i imagine not a screw down, whats inside it Rich ? There might be some clues, an overcoil might suggest a level of accuracy that was required for a military watch.

I found some information that they joined Heuer and Roland's site confirmed a calibre match. And funnily enough Venus that i mentioned earlier.

Just wondering if the case is original to the rest of the watch. The AS 1130 was used in lots of brands German military watches.

So, I might get thrown out of the fraternity for these but they are actually military watches. The second one is a tritium lumped watch which is very close to one I was issued with on active service. We weren’t allowed to keep them, some watches had to go back into storage after an operation.

What's a canteen crown?

It has a screw down cap over the crown like a canteen cap to protect the crown and waterproof. Most had a little chain so you didn't lose it.

I have to get me that one on the left.

It's a Hamilton Franken...a PX bought dial,  987a movement, (1944), NOS Wadsworth case (1946) and a vintage Berkley US stainless band.

Here's a nice Rolex Oyster 24hr  Military 1943  Ref# 3478 It was a 'bundle' purchase at my favorite 'Estate Shop'.
