Squale 1545 crown steps

Recommended Posts

Hello!

Bruno bere from Brazil.

First time I get a Squale model 1545. Very solid and very well finishing.

But not used yet with the crown setting. When I pull it to date position (1) or further to the time setting position (2) it doesn’t go back following those steps. I mean I have to press the crown againt the case until the yoke seems completely disengaged from the stem. If I slightly push the crown it doesn’t back to position 1 (date)and on.

Well it’s something I can live with but looks differently compared to others with screw down crowns.

Anyone faced something like this?

Is it a new Squale 1545 with the Selita SW-200 or the previous version with the ETA 2824-2?

The 2824 can have issues with the yoke disengaging from the winding stem.

Mark made a video about it:

The stem broke after a couple of push and pulls of crown. Makes me feel Squale not reliable. Returned the watch.

I do believe the problem was the same. Do you know if after repositioning the yoke the problem repeats?
