Polishing technics for 70's watch case

Hi,

I'm restoring some vintage watches approx 70-80 and especially the Japanese like seiko and citizen have this specific finish that I can't find any information how to do it.

So like I show in the pictures it's not a brush finish at all it's more like a sunburst with pattern. I'm sure it should not be polished with mob because it'll just make all shiny and non original

A lapping setup like in this video is used. There are more elaborate setups, but for the grained finish something as simple as this is just fine.
