Today i found an old Certina Blue ribbon Volvo watch and some old bracelets . For about  £3,50 . The watch doesn't work but i think i can save it ? Looks good enough to repair .Dial looks good .Needs some new gaskets and a new crystal  Will be using the bracelet the big holes next to the watch . post-644-0-48894600-1437221983_thumb.jpg

Excellent find Roger, when does work start?

Almost immediatlely :)  Couldn't resist to find out  what was broken , Turned out to be the mainspring . New mainspring and it should work fine again . Looks really nice inside .Their is some oil in the jewels .Fresh oil . I think it' has been serviced recently ? But will take apart and service anyway .Movement is a ETA 2783 .
