Hello everyone!

I just posted a thread about this dial on the source parts list. Ideally I would want a new dial but if there is anything I can do with this dial, I would certainly like to learn(:

So I have a Tag Heuer WE2110 in great condition. Unfortunately however, the dial feet are completely broken off. I have a dial feet milling machine but the dial feet sit so far ut on the dial that there is no chance to do that job with the tools I have. I don't have a dial feet welder or a lathe.

I tried using dial dots, cutting them and placing them as best as I could but the issue is that the height tolerance of the dial is very unforgiving. If the dial sits just half a millimeter high, the hands contact the dial.

The pictures below show my issues. Is there some naughty watchmaking trick that someone has to share or am I screwed here?

Huge thanks(:

You have two choices that I can see.

No1 Is a new Dial if you can find one, nut knowing how much Tag parts cost it would be cheaper to go with option two below.

No2 Buy an electronic dial feet welder like the one shown below.  Expensive at £200 with shipping but still cheaper than a new Tag dial, and you will have a machine for all future dial feet jobs.
