Hello,

I joined to learn more about building and repairing watches.  I have a few watches and have recently been diverted into the realm of offbeat Russian and Chinese watches.  Since these are unusual for the US, learning to do basic/intermediate repairs is probably a good idea.  I also love working with my hands so this seems like a good hobby to take up.

Thanks for having me!

Hello and welcome to the forum, Just starting out? Have a look at the watchfix.com site.  There is a course (self paced) in several parts taking you from the start, opening the watch to advanced diagnostics.  This course is run by our administrator Mark Lovick and considered by many as being a great way to start.
