Hi everyone

I have always been fascinated by the concept of time, so naturally I like watches.

I started by buying quartz and then smart watches but got hooked when I picked up my first pocket watch this year and wondered how folks more than a century ago could make such quality and accurate mechanical timepieces without computers, CNC etc

Soon I picked up another pocket watch, then another and another.... now I think I have around twenty ticking away while my smart watches are starting to become obsolete!

Watchmaking soon became my new hobby as I am hoping to service my pocket watches myself and I have not looked back since as there is so much to learn...

I am looking forward to learning from the experienced watchmakers on this forum and also hope to be able to contribute to this forum when/if I can.

Many cheers from me here in Singapore!
