Hello, I'm excited to join this forum.

I've been learning about mechanical watches for about two years now and have found Mark's videos interesting and extremely helpful.  I used to launch springs all over the place, until I saw Mark's technique.  Now I launch them less often.

So far I've worked on the following three movements:

  • Unitas 6497 (to get my feet wet)
  • ETA 2824 (to add a little complexity)
  • ETA 7750 (which is a bit tough for me)

Cheers,

-Tim

Hello and welcome to this friendly site. ETA 7750 that's a bit of a tough one with only 2 years experience. I was a watchmaker/repaired for a heck of a long time and I can tell you you never stop learning there's always some new that would come into my workshop.

The ETA 7750 was tough.  I got through it using the ETA Swissl@b site.

I just found the AMAZING walkthrough by "Lawson" in this forum.  I'll be using that next time.
