Newbie wanting to learn more!

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, Adam here attempting to dabble in the world of watch repair and servicing having enrolled on Marc's excellent watch repair course!

Been interested in early WW1 era wristwatches for a while (or wristlets as they were known) as I love the history attached to these items and having purchased some nice pieces over the last year or so have realised that when they are advertised as working this often means in reality they work for a bit then stop! 😆. So with Marc's training course and help from this forum am hoping I can get them in to good enough condition to be usable and wearable as I think they deserve better than to be stuck in a drawer collecting dust.

So again as a complete novice hoping members have the patience to answer what may seem very silly questions going forward 🙂.

Thanks in advance

Kind regards

Adam.
