A Brit in California

Hello to all on WRT!. I am an Automotive Design Sculptor who has been making full size clay design models in the car industry for many years. My love of watches has been evolving lately into more than just wearing them. I have been fiddling around, trying to take apart, clean and put back together etc. I found it very therapeutic and relaxing playing around with those tiny parts, (Complete opposite of splining in full body side surfaces of a three ton clay car). I bought a few tools and I thought I would start with something fun and economical like a vintage Timex. How difficult could it be for a guy who is quite creative with his hands? Oh my Gosh, I have now got three or four watches in pieces all over my desk. So I joined Watch Repair Talk in the hope of getting that therapeutic relaxing feeling back!

Yours Humbly
