Omega 234 SC medicus

Recommended Posts

I bought this watch from someone who said it belonged to his father.  I knew it was working but not keeping time.  I hoped my trusted repairer could fix it, but he said it needs a new balance spring or assembly.  He has now retired and I don't know how I can get one or if there is another fix?

Can anyone help or suggest what I could try, please?

I know it's not a hugely valuable watch, but I think it's historically interesting and I'd like to have it in my collection and be able to wear it.

Your watch need an overcoil spring but building a balance to a balance complete involves more than just putting the spring on the balance.

There is also the question of quality spring in Omega watches.

Time pieces you mention above are all high quality and best be entrusted in experience hands.

Good luck
