New member applications not being processed.

Recommended Posts

Hi.

When I first tried to join this forum I used the join forum button, filled in all my data and got the message that my application is being reviewed, (something along those lines) but never got any reply. I In the end had to join Facebook and was able to join the forum using the log on with your Facebook ID option.

I can stand Facebook and all the things they get up to so have have closed my account with them, I assume this will mean my access to this forum will also end.

So in possibly my last post here, is there any chance the join forum option not involving Facebook could be fixed. Unless it has been fixed in the few months since I last tried.

Thanks.

Paul

I'm so sorry to hear this. Have you messaged Mark about the problem? That is what I suggest you do. Or is you like I can do it for you. If you decide you would like me, let me know here as at present I'm having problems with my email server so no emails are getting through to me.

Looks like the new member registration has been fixed as I am now back under the new name as my old one was (as I suspected) quickly blocked once I cancelled my facebook page.

So you are OK.

Yep and glad to see the back of Facebook with their constant barrage of we think these people are your friends messages, even though they are always total strangers 😀 how long before they learned I have no friends, well none that are still living 😉

Isn't that bizarre

Just posted this on my tablet and it let in on the old account, when I tried on my PC it wouldn't accept my login, which was why I set up the new user account.

Very odd.
