Well that's teach me for opening the window, I just completed the final coats for the cast alloy parts, and the base which needed a final coat, like a numpty I opened the window to let the fumes out, its -15 out so now my base has some crystalisation on the one side, guess it added to its character.

Thank you Mark and Micky for the measurements. I believe I'll be ordering too!

I hope the crystallization is not too bad! I used to live in Chicago and believe me I know what -12 is! The worst winter here in Miami is about 34 (all in Celsius)!

My OCD got the better of me so sanded the crystallisation area right down to the metal again ready to cost again.

It usually drops to as low as -35 in March/April.

And I thought my old town was cold! By March we were already leaving behind the worst of the cold...worst part was February where deeps rarely would go to -40F or so with the wind factor...

So back to the Elma, nice move. After all you have put into it, it would be a shame not to re do the finish! I'm probably also OCD! :D

My little baskets arrived, and they are great, the lids snap on nice, and don't fall off.

Got myself a new, smaller digital camera too recently, taking sometime getting used to it, but overall its great compared to my old thing I had, it was way too bulky.  I went for the Sony Cybershot WX350.

Yep, just the wiring, and a little thing called "time"  :)  Finding time these days is hard, I am so busy with work, but I need to make time, as this Super Elite will indeed be ut to work right way too.

The mechanical timer that mine had fitted was ok, but the cream coloured dial put me off in refitting it to my refinished look, so have purchased a modern-day digital turn to set round timer, which hopefully will fit in the recess, plus give me more room for the wiring behind there too.

I'm looking forward to seeing that.

These days I use the coundown timer on my iPhone ;)

My timer arrived, and its almost a perfect fit, just need to modify the old timer surround so this timer protrudes through and allows rotation of the outer setting ring.

Need another clear coat on this case part too by the looks of it.  Getting excited now, almost there, planning on starting the rewiring the weekend.
