I love all  the watches I've had (just 3) and since my then new wife bought the one that's now broken I don't want to get rid of it! So, now it's lost its crown wheel, I really need help.

You say crown wheel, do you mean the button that is the part you wind to make the watch go. If so has it just unscrewed or has the stem broken. We need to see a photo of the movement and the crown wheel? to see if it has broken. It is quite easy to repair.

Furthure to what oldhippy pointed out, we have a winding crown and a crown wheel, you wind or set the time through the winding crown.
