Silly mistake and another bit of knowledge.

Working on a Kienzle Westminster clock and made a silly mistake and also found some useful information regarding Kienzle clocks. Assembled and noticed that the hand was very stubborn to move when setting the time. Silly mistake,  I had missed out a washer that sits between the centre wheel arbour clutch assembly see first pic.

Found that the numbers on the back are very useful. The the two numbers highlighted show the (Red arrow) length of the pendulum and the (blue arrow) shows the beat per minute. So using the app “ClockMaster”  I should, in the theory getting it regulated first time !!!!!.

PS all the scratches on the plate are nothing to do with me!!. This clock in in a terrible state, screws very badly bruised, the end of the chiming arbour has been broken off, but might still be functional.
I never get a Westminster chimes and hammers in sequence first time and this one will be no exception for sure. What fun😊
