What the hell is that?

Recommended Posts

At a yard sale yesterday I found a bag of woman's watches with this in it for $1.  As far as quartz watches all I can do is change batteries. I went to put a battery in it and this pillow was in there.  I have no idea on what I have here.  Any one know what this is and how to power it up?

the battery is a rechargeable lithium and that also appears to be a micro SD memory card on the circuit board?. I don't suppose they put in the writing on the back of the watch? In other words the case back?

your pictures just fuzzy enough I can't read anything that looks like a company name? It does appear to be a compass watch. Then you need some sort of charger to charge the whole thing up.

Aloha All,

Its a Spy Camera Watch. Look at the front dial between the "TI" & "ME" in TIME, that's the pin hole camera. Not sure if it is a still capture (which means you would have to push the button to capture a picture)  Or video, which you would push one of the buttons to start recording, walk by your target with the watch face pointed towards the target, and upon returning you would review the video.

cool piece of tech, I bet it still works. yet good luck finding the manual. you'll have to play with it and maybe google.
Good luck and keep us posted.

Cheers,
Karp

Spy Camera Watch

if you search online for spy camera watch you see lots of examples.

I found a picture which looks like their watch and there's a video showing in an action. You should build a plug it into a USB device typically a things that have memory in them will be recognized as a memory device to the computer. At least is worth a try.

That's a LiPo (lithium polymer) battery. The kind that explode into flames type. That is all bloated up and ready to go at any moment. I would cut it off and chuck it away PRONTO!

I suspect if you look on the other side the battery there should be specifications and probably a date. From the looks of the video watch was made about 10 years ago which might explain why the battery perhaps isn't in good condition. So did you plug it into a USB port keep an eye on it just in case.
