Click Spring On Eta 2409

This click spring is a little loose ? Should i bend it open or leave as is ? I don't now if it should be like this ? The click doesn't open all the way? I now there is rust on the screw  :)

I may seem a little slack sitting like that, but does the click engage when the ratchet wheel is installed?   It really doesn't require a lot of force when it operates.

I think it does but haven't put it together again. It worked before i dissamble it

don't interfere with it, I think it will be OK when you reassemble the movement and fit the ratchet wheel. If there is an issue deal with it then.

Bending parts is a bit hit & miss so I agree with Geo leave alone unless there is a issue.

It works but i feels like the mainspring is slipping inside the arbor. Change the mainspring?

It is working now . Don't no way i felt like i was slipping . It's clean and greased . I winding it to full  a few times with a screwdriver and let go of the mainspring while holding back click spring . Not full throttle . Now it's working good .

I need to take more pictures of my work so i can post it in the forum .

That's good Roger, it sounds like the spring was just needing to catch properly. :)
