It may still be a ways down the road, but that bit of knowledge advances the timeline considerably! Another major advancement is the fact that, during an unrelated project this week, I found out that the electrical system in my wood shop is not as badly damaged as I thought it was from a previous owner's stupidity, so that whole building just got moved up a major rung on the project ladder for this year. Given the low torque of the motor and high dust/mess factor, that's probably where it'll live, and there may be a project that could use some of that capability soon. Thanks for the heads up!
