Oiling a movement.

Recommended Posts

Hi some manufacturers do provide lubrication charts for their watches as specific parts require specific oils and greases. The EB 8800 sheet does not (attached) but I have attached the BHI publication regarding watch lubrication. Also attached is the recommended lubrication chart explaining which oils go where. Hope this helps and is of interest.

In case of pin pallets, oiling and epilame escape teeth and pallets matters the most.

Modern oils are superior in quality to anything used back when EB8800 were made, so your general lube exceeds requirements.
