Sorting of forum

Recommended Posts

Hi,

in subforum "Watch Repair Tools & Equipment" I have a strange appearance.
Selected is "sort by: recently updated". But whenever I open this forum, I have to scroll to the very bottom to find the most recent threads.
That isn't ok, is it?

That is because pinned topics, (white icon by the title) are always shown first.

The reason why there are many pinned topics is that having them in good evidence may save members from posting a question about a frequent subject that has been discussed already.

To locate new postings try the unread content icon on top, it returns the section among other info.

It would be great if there was a feature that could be turned on that would un-pin pinned threads with no new posts.  So they would go back to their normal spot based on the age of the content.  One could turn it on after scrolling past the same pinned threads with no new posts for the thousandth time, at which point the purpose of pinning them, to bring attention to their content, has been long ago accomplished.
