My New Seiko 5

Just took delivery of my very first Seiko 5 about 30 min ago. I like it. I actually bought a black one too. I am planning on giving it to my dad. Nice little auto and very inexpensive. I hear that they will run well for a long time. Does anyone know if the movement is based on a Swiss movement? If so..which one?

This is one I picked up dirt cheap recently - from 1976 - and I'm getting it cleaned up next week. Goes a bit but needs a good clean.
