How to take out the movement of Swatch SW626SW if the stem is stuck inside?

Recommended Posts

So normally if you want to disassemble a Swatch SW626SW you just pull the stem out just like pulling out the canon pinion. But the swatch I'm currently working at is a stubborn one. Its stem stucked. So the stem can not rotate can not pull out and set time. I haven'e try to force the stem put cuz I worry about the consequences. If there any better way to deal with it?

Hi  If the stem is stuck in the watch with no rotation at all ,     Leads one to believe there is either rust(most likley) or corrosion within the keyless work holding the stem in place. First of all see if you can get some penetrating fluid down the stem tube to soften the corrosion/rust.  Is this watch a front loader or conventional . The number you have quoted looks more like the battery type often put on the back cover of the watch.    Can you please supply photos of the movement/watch so that we can see what we are up against here
