Hi Everyone!

I am new in watchrepair, from Austria. Right now I am trying to buy a defect watch to play around and to learn how to work with that. I also was concerned about radioactivity of some old watches (perhaps even too much), so now searching for a old watch from 70-80s to play around! ?

Thank you for your introduction and welcome to this friendly forum.

What part are you from? Austria my favourite country. I have spent lots of time in the Salzkammergut at St Wolfgang and also in the Austrian state of Tyrol. I hope to return when this horrid covid 19 goes away.

Welcome!

I bought my first “good” watch in Salzburg! A Tag Heuer 2000 quartz chronograph. I still have it (and a bunch of spares) but I haven’t got it running yet, as I’m not qualified. It’s a Depraz module on top of a tractor. Since I have two, I should just man up and tear the thing down...

Its right in the middle of this picture amongst a bunch of other old watches.
