thank you both.  I'm on Oahu.

I have question that's probably classic newbie: I found a seiko world timer 5t52 abandoned in a desk drawer.  Is the 5t52 a movement number?  I'm asking because the watch is in beautiful shape but the old battery looks burned and when I put in new one nothing happened. I heard from someone that if I replaced the "circuit" it would probably still work.  I'm not sure what that means.  Is that same thing as putting in a new movement?  And, if so, do the movement #s have to be the same or could a 7N movement work in a watch that originally had a 5Txx movement.  I'm really hoping I can save this watch but just not sure how to go about it.

Thanks!
