VX32E date wheel stuck

I have a VX32E watch whose date is stuck, it doesn't change either by stem or even when the 24 hour cycle completes, any suggestions how to rectify this

Could be a number of things. How about removing the hands and dial, that's if you are comfortable with that. Post a few photos, so we can have a look for you.

These are additional ones, having a hard time fitting the date  wheel protection part

Placed everything like this but the top part keeps popping out , any suggestions

Looks like some part is broken or reassembled incorrectly, being the cost of a new module less than 10 Euro it might be an option to replace it completely.

That's what I was thinking as well , just quick question the watch I am working on has date at 5 PM mark while the available movements have either 3 or 6 option, which one to buy

It depends on the shape of the date window, the one is your picture is actually date at 6.

Thanks , I got one with date at 3 and it worked for the watch I was working on, appreciate all the support
