1915 Longines Caliber 9.35 (9L, 15J) what kind of case?

Recommended Posts

Other than measuring the movement   9  to 3  and 12  to 6,  and  scouring ebay for a case to fit the dial and it may also require a movement ring or insert.  There are sellers of used watch parts, obsoletewatchandclockparts.com  welwynwatches.co.uk and in europe speedtimerkollection,  there will be others but will require research.

One other little problem from the pictures it looks like you're missing an hour wheel and one plate screw? Then it looks like the movement might have a serial number some of the watch companies will do background checks for you if you can identify the watch unfortunately they usually charge a fee. Then as the dial is missing it would suggest that it was probably a metal dial and it was made out of a valuable metal. But that just a wild guess.
