zenith el primero to restore.

Recommended Posts

First time I come across this type of zenith for restoration and need your opinion.

How much should I pay for it.

I don't have parts for it, neither have trawled ebay for used movements to it, are new parts available  ?

Your feedback is appreciated. TIA

If you want an opinion I agree with nickelsilver, and don't pay anything or a symbolic sum just for fun.
Atleast there will be lots of parts for it but not from any swiss manufacurer ;)

Thank you @nickelsilver   good thing I asked, never had one and am not familiar with el primero class.

Thank you @HSL  I best look into el primero before I become the proud owner of a fake one.

I have a link below where you can look at pictures of what it's supposed to look like and get a clue of pricing which of course does not apply to this watch at all.

Thank you john, I didn't know,  so many different version of el primero are made. WOW.

Now at a 30% sale.. but still with the 750 (18k gold mark).

Any chance that the gold mark is more genuine than the fake Zenith one?

Crappy movement with year indication GBP 20 (check Cousins)

All the rest to make it look horrendous GBP 15.

Consciously buy counterfeit watches and look like an idiot, priceless.
