Timex Marlin from the 70s

Recommended Posts

Hi there. New to this forum.

I lost the crystal on my marlin a while back and finally found some time to start looking for a replacement.

Would appreciate if someone could guide me on where I could get one and also maybe how to fit it.

Attached a picture for reference.

Many thanks :)

Regards

welcome to the forum,     You will need to measure the crystal  6  to 12  and  nine to 3  and purchase a generic crystal fro the likes of cousins uk  assuming you are in the UK, or   esslingers, jules borel in America.

Hi. Appreciate the reply.

that's the issue, I don't have the crystal to get the exact measurements.

Hoping someone could send the exact link to the right crystal

I believe the size is 30.4 MM or 30.6MM.

Hi JerseyMo. Thank you for the reply.

Seems like you're a subject matter expert when it comes to Timex watches.

Which would be a better bet? the 30.4 or 30.6?

I see that there are some options in terms how low/high the dome of the crystal from the websites that @watchweasol shared.

What would make it closest to the original crystal?
