Day wheel hanging up on dial

Hi All

I'm a beginner and this is an AS 1916 that I just "serviced".  Wasn't running when I got it.

The day wheel works fine until I put the dial on.  The dial needs to sit a bit high on it's posts for the day wheel to move.  The dial doesn't look warped to me.  Could I be missing some form of spacer?  It can be designed such that the day wheel only works if the dial sits high enough.  Could it?

Thank you

Charlie

YES!  I looked up dial spacer on the internet.  Then looked down and saw the same part staring at me from the parts tray.  Somehow this beginner forgot where it came from and assumed that it was a second movement spacer.

I've lost track of the times forum members have saved my feeble attempts.  Thank you all!
