Automaton's, a watchmaker's boast.

I saw this video tonight on my YouTube feed. It focuses on automatons. These were mechanical creations designed to display the skill of watchmakers. Truly amazing. I'm relatively certain our humble members wish we had this level of skill. Fascinating story.

When I was last in the UK and I realised the museum that had 'The Silver Swan' in it was only a 10 minute drive away from where I was staying I made a special trip out to see it. The skill and effort some of these early watchmakers went to are just amazing.
