Won't let me watch it in Australia. :-(

When I was last in the UK and I realised the museum that had 'The Silver Swan' in it was only a 10 minute drive away from where I was staying I made a special trip out to see it. The skill and effort some of these early watchmakers went to are just amazing.

Found another copy of it on YouTube, thanks I hadn't seen that one before.

If you are interested here is my much much simpler automaton I made years ago getting an upgrade to be steam driven.

I made this video 11 years ago for a forum I used to help run which was all about toy and model steam engines.

I've worked on the design and building of cam driven production line machines in the lamp making and fastener making/assemble industries and can really appreciate this.....
