Hi

I new to this forum and I am looking for some advice please. I have a Breitling Top Time 2006-33

I have removed the rear cover and taken of the winder and unscrewed the screw hold the movement

the movement is free within the body, however I cannot see how to remove it from the body. Any suggestion or help would be most welcome. Regards Rob1949

Be aware that in any case, beside a perfectly fitting, and possibly original crystal (which may be impossible to obtain from Breitling), you will need a crystal press or lift to refit it. So if it is an one-time job it may be more expedient to give the watch to a reputable watchmaker for repair.

Thanks JDM I have had a price and its rather high. £500

For just a crystal replacement certainly it is, but if complete servicing was included (consider it a necessity to properly maintain mechanical watches) isn't too far off from the market. Start measuring the case opening, to identify and obtainin the crystal first. Then even an equipped watch shop that change batteries may be able to install it perfectly.
