Croton watch Crystal

Hello,

I've been search for a few months now for a replacement glass crystal (the old one broke in half) for this Croton watch.  I've serviced it and it's running awesome and I'm really hoping to get to wear it.

I've looked around at the GS catalogs I've been able to find but haven't been able to find an exact match for the crystal.

Does anyone know what type of crystal this would be?  Or perhaps a good place to go looking?

Thanks!

Hi, if you can't find the correct crystal, what I and many others usually do is find one as close as possible and simply file down or grind step by step until it fits. You can do this when the crystals are curved like the one you are after. Just take your time. Or if you want you can buy crystal blanks from watch material house and file to fit. CMT360-11 for example Hope that helps.........

Thanks @graziano!  I hadn't thought of that.  The CMT360-11 you mentioned is sure close and probably wouldn't take too much work to make it fit!

Hi yes it's close. When I did my first crystal, I used a 5 dollar set of diamond files with water and it worked well. Just keep checking because you can get carried away and also file edges as vertical as you can. Once you have got it down to size just use Hypo cement to glue the crystal in place and your done. You can do this with just about any watch once you get the hang of it.
