reducing dust

Does anyone have a good solution for keeping their working area dust free? I am constantly cleaning down my bench due to dust, after a few hours there is a layer of dust that needs removing. The room i work in is about 5 meters by 2, carpet flooring and no windows. I was thinking about an air purifier

does anyone use one of these or have another suggestion?

The first thing that came to my mind was a small, portable spray paint booth. I got one of these for my son that builds Gundam models. It's a bit noisy, but it does the job.

Nice idea but It's not really practical for watch making, not enough space for your arms
