Hello and many greets from Germany

Hello,

I'm secretly reading here for several months and now finally decided to join the forum and introduce myself :) I wear watches for several years, have and had many nice Quartz watches, but never was really into opening them until I got a watch with cheap Asian mechanical movement. It fascinated me so that some months ago I tried to dismantle and reassemble it, of course it ended up with a lost spring and 2 bent pivots :D

Nevertheless I want to learn more and plan on getting better tools and hopefully starting new projects, so I'm glad to join here !

Many greetings to all from Germany !

Welcome here! I'm noting your posting as a witness for the people which periodically show up here with the declared intention of repairing their expensive Rolex, complicated chronometer, or unreplaceable heirloom piece, based on their previous experience being a mechanic, or "very handy at things", that of course without any specific tool. But I'm sure you will accomplish many successful repairs, perhaps with the help of the great training by our Mark Lovick: watchrepairlessons.com

:DI only did, knowing that a whole replacement was about 15 bucks, crazy that there are really beginners thinking about taking apart a Rolex in pieces lol

By the way, love the youtube channel of Mark, a really great guy!
