TV shaped glass

I have this watch and it needs a new glass. Cousins do them, but how will I know if it will fit?

I can measure H&W but how do I know if the corners are correct?

Unless on the description on Cousins says that is for your watch, there is no guarantee of a perfect fit.
So it would need to be cut to measure.
If that sign on the left is just a scratch it can be polished.

This is a bale (B) shape with rounded corners (r) so would come under the Sternkreuz Br category ... which takes two further measurements of height-to-corner-starts and width-to-corner-starts to establish an idea of the corner radii. 

It's surprising what nasties can be polished out of an acrylic crystal so this might be worth having a go at first.

The height and width measurements are correct. They only do one that is correct in these dimensions, but the Br spec sheet lists hundreds, with some pretty small variations.

I think I may give it a go, the glasses are not that cheap though, especially for a watch like this.

Unfortunately, the bottom edge of the glass has crumbled away.

I had a Bulova watch the same shape as that that no hands, Crystal and the movement was shot, after careful measuring I got a crystal that was nearly a perfect size and after a bit of sanding, buffing and polishing the sides if fitted, the ETA movement was no longer available so ended up matching it with a Miyota
