OMEGA 563

i have a 563 movement plus a 562.i am having a problem with the keyless works on the 563.there seems to be a slight difference between the two!when i came to look at the 563 i found a part which did not seem to do anything,or was in the wrong place.can anybody shed any light on this.everything on the movt.is working fine just need to keep the stem in and working.would appreciate any help.thanks B.

Hi Bernie    the bit on the plate looks like the piece that retains the stem , running in the stem groove.     I have atteched the tech sheets for both calibers for you to identify th bit.

Thanks watchweasel but I don't recognise the part on the chart! I know it's not the setting lever, that's already fitted.

Yes, they are different - the 563 has a quickset date. That spare part looks like one of these...
