Hi my name is Jolo. 

It all started 8 years ago when my friend wore a 300 Seiko and I thought that was a ridiculous amount of money to spend on a watch. 

Now my omega is worth 4x more than my car. 

I recently tried to fix a Seiko quartz my dad had bought me years ago. Turns out it didn't actually need fixing. But it was too late. I took it apart, broke a few things. And then started the quest to rebuild!

Now I'm also trying to build a watch as a gift. Just an 8215 and some parts from AliExpress. But wow do individual parts cost a lot! While you can get a fully assembled Chinese watch for a fraction of the price. 

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to get cases and hands and dials on the cheap?

I'm also pretty price conscious, im not looking to buy 10 different oils and greases and sharpening stones for my screw drivers. I just like messing around.
