Anyone know a supplier that would have orient watch parts. In general orient doesn’t supply parts I guess and it’s been hard to find on eBay. I have an EM60 repair. The crystal was damaged and whatever damaged it burned through and burnt the inner bezel and I cannot find a bezel with the same markings. Any help would be awesome.
Just finished a vintage build with correct working seconds at the six position. Hard to find a good reissue so I made my own with a aftermarket case and a dial made by me from scratch. logo is also my logo. Looks very professional maybe I could get some opinions from you guys. I have 25 more dials with different designs from single sub seconds to 2 and 3 eye chronographs. Its hard to find the cases I want. I guess I will settle with aftermarket cases for now and modify them.
Hi everyone, hoping I might be able to get some advice on re-assembling my watch movement.
Working on a Bfg-866 movement from an older watch I got as something to practice and attempt to fix. I disassembled it and managed to get the arbour back in it's rightful place in the mainspring, which fixed the winding issue I had had with it. However, on putting the movement back together I got the train wheels all in place and made sure they could all move smoothly after fitting the wheel bridge back into place, however when I try to test wind it without the crown it would wind up and add tension, but nothing would move and the spring wouldn't unwind. I don't have the pallet fork or anything else in while testing this, and double checking everything seems to move smoothly, and the mainspring wheel had a tiny bit of play side to side, seeming to imply it isn't caught on anything either. Am I missing an obvious issue here? Feel so close to having it working and any advice to get it going is much appreciated (Apologies for any part naming mistakes, still pretty new here. If I can get this watch to run, as it so nearly did before these issues, it will be my first successful repair, hence my eagerness!)

I am about to work on a vintage citizen watch.
I removed the movement from the case but I am stuck on removing the automatic rotor..
It seems that my screwdrivers won't do the job..

Had you not lubricated the escapement at all? You should lubricate the impulse faces of the pallet stones, this will go on the teeth of the escape wheel and get spread to the locking faces and across all teeth evenly after running for a while. You can use 9010, or 941 (advised by Moebius for slower beat watches i.e. 18,000bph), or 9415, which is suggested for faster beat watches but works great for slow beat as well. But you need lubrication there for sure. Don't oil the pallet fork pivots.
