Too good to be true?

I picked this up at a yard sale today.  It was marked for $100 but everything was half price so I got it for $50.  The three marker is missing and a smudge buy the nine marker.  I put a battery in it and it works.  Is it real?  What is it?  I could not find one on Crono 24 or eBay.  Any idea on the age?  Does anyone know where I could get a marker for it?  You can be blunt you will not hurt my feelings.

Believe it or not, I had a dream about this watch. There was a local ad with one for sale for $25 or so, it carried the model name Tudor (oh well). The text was a long tirade about the high philosophical message of it having indexes of different length (!?!), and it had a lot of pictures that I wanted to post here to compare, now I can't do that as the dream  rendering machine hasn't been invented yet.
