Am fascinated by this topic and look forward to learning from the assembled...  have a neat old Seiko Chronograph purchased in Singapore in the early 90's (7T32 7A20). Is has slowed down to a stop and feeding it a new battery kept it going only a short period longer.  Am curious as to whether or not it is worth the effort to get it going again.   m
