If the pins are covered, being invisible to the eye there is no specific tool. One would need to precision drill and destroy the cap, then replace it it and polish together to the link, or fit a collet and leave the hole being visible.
I have been told these links can be removed and replaced without too much damage. Apparently their is a specific tool to do it?
Does anyone know what this tool is? I read a few threads across forums and it's spoken about but I haven't actually seen it. The threads that do show how it is done have broken picture links so unfortunately no good. I would like to see this method for future reference.
