I think this HS completed with the wheel, dose not vibrate to the right frequency/ beat.
They are said to be incompatible.
That can happen, if you somehow put the HS on the wrong wheel twice.
Also, are you sure if the two movements beat the same?
Hi guys and girls, I hadn't really been into more than one watch for most of my life, first was a Timex from my Grandad, then an old Seiko Auto from my dad, it broke and he took it back, another Seiko 150 sports and then an uncommon Seiko Chrono which I had for 12 years, which I stupidly sold on Ebay.. then suddenly the bug bit, a Citizen diver, then modded Seiko skx, Casio Gulfmaster, Seiko Monster, another Citizen diver, Steinhart ocean one, Ocean X sharkmaster, a Seiko Flighty, sold the lot, now have a Seiko 7a28, a 7t34 and a V172...
I have a 1950's clock which the minute hand lume has broken apart and fallen out. The lume has broken in to 4 parts and are all recoverable as they're laying on the dial.
My question is can I reuse the old lume. Can it be reconstituted and if so whats the best method? I was think pecil and morter in to a fine powder then add bindng agent.
Any thoughts welcome, I can't seem to find any mention in any posts.
