Second Hand Question

Recommended Posts

I have a luminox quartz with an eta 251.471 movement that I had to replace the movement and tritium tubes. All is well except when I went to install the sweep second hand I buggered it up and need to order a new hand. I have several assortments of hands but I dont think I have the right size. I just need to know that the hand Im looking for is a .3 as thats whats stated on the movement info I found. The ones I have are too small and even though I have broaches I think itd just be easier to buy a new hand. Also it seems that the ones I have the tube part of the watch hand is too short. Any advice or help as to where to shop for this size hand would be helpful.

I would suggest a watch material suppler. Can you measure to old one? you will probably need the cal number of the movement.

At the top of the page you will see Resources, it will show Parts & Tools Suppliers, click that and a list will come up and look for the country you need.

ETA 251.471 uses a .30 second had as stated above. Any with right length and  that satisfies the OP will work.

Thanks. Yes. Im fairly confident its a .3. I spoke with a tech at cas ker and they have one on the way....

This time even though I have an active account with them and have purchased a ton of stuff I got the "are you a watchmaker" interrogation......the watch police must be on red alert.
