Help on a French Carriage clock

Hello,

I'm "servicing" a carriage clock received recently. I'm only an hobbyist, improving my skills, but still a newbie.
I cleaned and oiled the movement.
I took apart the platform escapement and found that the lower cap jewell had been replaced with a steel plate.
I searched on Ebay, Cousin's and a few other, didn't found that part.

Is there any chance to find one? Or to make one?
I would prefer to keep the English Lever platform, because I like it, and don't wan't to replace it with something looking new.

It looks like the jewel is missing. If I am correct it is a rub in jewel setting.

It is missing the round brass plate that holds the end stone. I had a small box of old end stone plates that is not going to help you. I have seen platform parts on ebay, you need the right size. Are you able to make one?. The easiest way for you is to take the platform to a good clock repairer/maker and ask them to repair it for you. With the right tools it is quite easy.

No, the end stone was held by a round metallic plate.
I guess it was damaged and replaced by that flat plate.

I found another one for 10 pounds, not exactly the right dimension, but the pivot rests on a jewel now, and the clock ticks pretty well
