What type crystal?

Hi All

I'm a beginner trying to determine what type of crystal to order.  The supply house describes them as glued in, compression fit or tension ring.

They would be for a Waltham and Sears Tradition.  Both from late 60's early 70's.

I was able to easily pop both crystals out.  The Sears crystal has a smooth edge and the Waltham has a lip. Neither had a gasket or ring.

Almost impossible to get clear pictures but these are looking at the inner wall of the case, top up (Sears first)

Any ideas of the type of crystals?

Thank you

Charlie

I would say if they do not have sweep seconds hands Low dome will fit. High dome if they have sweep seconds. Measure from 12 to 6 or 9 to 3. What tool do you have for fitting crystals?

Just a thought did the old ones have a ring inside the crystal?

Follow up...

The Waltham face opening is 30mm.  The old crystal measured 30.2 including the small lip.  The other is 30mm with no lip.

I honestly can't determine what crystal to select from this supplier.  https://www.jewelerssupplies.com/CrystalsPlastic.html

Any help is appreciated.

The bezel looks deep enough. That tool will squeeze the crystal when it picks it up, so a slightly bigger size will fit in.

Go here and look for HD BCL 30.2 then click on Alternatives a small window will open that is what you need buy 2 one for each.

I do not understand all the info from your link. You could phone and tell them what you want.
