Seiko 7006A waterproofing

Recommended Posts

I hope someone can assist me with a diagram of a Seiko 7006A, illustrating gasket's ext. I have a 1972 automatic Seiko with mentioned movement after a clock maker serviced it, it is not remotely water resistent. I took the movement out and pushed out the glass that i am going to replace. When doing so a gasket fell out and i really have no idea where to fit it again. I am an absolute novice!

I think the case model is what you need to mention.

Good luck

sorry I miss read your post..it sounds like the glass gasket. the glass is compressed in place with the gasket between the glass and case ... You have to be careful lining it up as to not wreck the gasket when compressing
